This reporter has become aware of strange events which have a distinctly Asian flavour. The well known local character Ed Wan seems to have disappeared. Subsequently there has been an influx to the island of people with Asian sounding names. Two newly arrived, rather menacing looking characters have spent several days interrogating inhabitants of the island looking for Mr Wan. Muffled screams have been heard from the B&B that Ed managed, and one of the girls who worked the streets near there is also missing. The two intimidating characters were seen sneaking away in a cab very early one morning and the driver later reported they had boarded a plane at the airfield, presumably leaving for good. Maybe these events connected; I cannot tell, but The Journal will keep you updated.
