Earlier this morning DI firefighters were called out to a fire at the local Irish pub Murphy's Ole Ale House on Lombard Ave and Calm Cove Rd. Local Firefighters arrived on the scene quickly fighting the blaze and preventing it from spreading to further properties.
One casualty was rescued from the fire and was taken to DI Hospital. He was identified as pub owner Stubbard McCaw. He is in critical condition.
the DI Fire Dept has yet to comment on the cause of the blaze.
