Yo Momma Is Almost Here! Sort What You Need!

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

Yo Momma is almost upon us, but there is still time to get the supplies needed to ensure that you have a safe stay during this patch of rough weather. Here are some handy to have and know while you are trying to wait out this storm:

If you decided to wait out the storm at home, you will need:

  1. Enough water for each person to have a gallon a day

  2. Three-day supply of non-perishable food

  3. Battery-powered radio with extra batteries

  4. Flashlight

  5. Whistle

  6. First Aid Kit

  7. Garbage bags

  8. Towelettes

  9. Phone chargers

  10. Duct tape

  11. Wrench or pliers

  12. Local map

  13. Manual can opener

Set up a safety room. Please beware of your location and if it floods easily.

Once the typhoon arrives, there will be no way to get to mainland, so make you have everything you need. Keep in contact with family and don't waste the battery on your phone playing Fortnite. I know it's tempting, but you might end up in a situation where you need to contact 911.

Thanks to the efforts made by the council, most of the local buildings and properties are protected from the storm. You can read more about council efforts here.

And one last thing,

Be careful where you step. If there is water on the ground, be aware of any down power lines. If you step on water that is charged by downed lines, you put yourself at risk for electrical shock.

While no one can predict exactly how a storm will affect a community until it hits, taking precaution is the best thing you can do to keep your family and pets safe. Following the advice of weather experts and state officials.

Furthermore, if you need a safe place to go, we have set up shelters in Sunway Resort, Local Hospital, The Club Noir Club, and the DIPD.
